How Sudoku works

Select a cell, then enter a digit with the number pad or your keyboard. Each row, column and 3×3 box may contain each digit only once. Use Notes to pencil candidates. The checker flags conflicts as you type. Finish the grid to stop the clock. Your best time per difficulty is stored on this device.

Why people stay for another round

Sudoku is the long-session game on the shelf: no timer pressure unless you want it, and a clean notes mode for people who like to hunt singles. Three difficulties mean a commute puzzle or a proper evening grid.

Tips

  • Start with the box that already has the most given digits.
  • Pencil every candidate in a tight box, then watch hidden singles appear.
  • If you are stuck, look at a single digit across the whole grid — not a single cell.

Fill the 9×9 grid so every row, column and box contains 1–9. Pencil notes and conflict highlights included. Controls: Click a cell, then 1–9. N toggles notes, Backspace erases, arrows move. Number pad on mobile.
