How Brick Break works
Move the paddle to keep the ball in play. Bricks break on impact; some take two hits. The ball speeds up as you clear the wall, and a combo meter rewards hits that land without a paddle miss. Clear every brick to advance a wave with a tighter layout. Lose the ball three times and the game is over.
Why people stay for another round
Breakout is still the best ‘one more serve’ arcade on a laptop. Brick Break adds combo scoring, a little camera shake, and waves that change the wall so a cleared board is a beginning, not an ending.
Tips
- Hit with the paddle edge to steal a sharp angle into the corners.
- Do not chase the ball — place the paddle where it will be.
- A slow centre hit is safer than a greedy edge when you are on one life.
Keep the ball in play, pop every brick, and ride the combo. Miss three times and the wall wins. Controls: Move the paddle with the mouse, finger, or left/right keys. Click or tap to serve.
